Mr.
Krul has been a part of the Burger team for ten years.
He has expanded our capabilities and continues to build a solid reputation
for Burger Construction with his "attention to detail" personality.
He brings to Burger three decades in the construction industry.
Prior to joining Burger Construction, Herb spent seven years with
American Assets of San Diego. He managed a variety of project types
including; tilt-up construction, mass grading, multilevel office buildings,
off-site infrastructure, major tenant retail centers, multiunit residential,
laboratory clean rooms and cinema complexes. Notable projects included
overseeing the 6.0 million dollar renovation of the Lomas Santa Fe
Plaza in Solana Beach, the 3.0 million dollar Cinema complex at Mission
Market Place in Oceanside and the full demolition and remodel for
the corporate offices of Light Span, an educational software developer
in La Jolla.
Since joining Burger Construction in 1997, Herb has managed a assortment
of complex and time sensitive projects. His responsibilities include;
conceptual estimates, preliminary budgets, final cost estimating,
value engineering, project administration including subcontractor
selection and negotiations, scheduling, purchasing, budget control
and overall project supervision.
At Burger Construction, Herb’s recent significant projects include;
Anacomp, Inc. a 70,000 SF tenant improvement in Poway, Carlsbad Courtyard
a 38,000 SF building renovation in Carlsbad, Convera Corporation a
27,000 SF tenant improvement in Carlsbad and the class A high rises in downtown San Diego for our client, The Irvine Company. Herb's professional
approach in construction has enabled him to receive the respect from
his clients, building authorities, subcontractors and peers in the
San Diego Construction Industry.
Herb received his Business Degree from the University of Toledo where
he was drafted by the Detroit Tigers Baseball Organization. He maintains
his competitive spirit by coaching, scouting and playing in local
baseball leagues. He lives with his wife of 32 years and has three grandchildren. |
